Applying to Tuxford Post 16

Thank you for considering post 16 study at Tuxford Academy. Our general application process is as follows:

  1. Decide which courses we offer that you would like to study
  2. Select the correct internal or external application form from the two options on this page. Late applications are also welcome.
  3. Complete the form online and submit by the deadline date where relevant. If you would prefer a paper copy version, please contact lmurphy@tuxford-ac.org.uk
  4. We will invite students who have submitted an application to an informal meeting. This gives you an opportunity to meet with us to find out if we are the right fit for you, and for us to learn more about you
  5. You will be invited to a post 16 induction event in the summer term
  6. On GCSE results day in August, applicants will need to enrol with us ahead of their start in September

Entry requirements

Students should have at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above (including English and maths), plus grade 6 and above in their chosen subjects.
