Main school open evening | Thursday 24 September

For year 6 looking to join year 7 in September 2027.

Families of year 6 children are invited to join us at our main school open evening on Thursday 24 September. There will be opportunity to hear from our principal, Mr Hardy, tour our fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities, and meet with current students and staff.

Our open evening is a great opportunity to get a flavour of Tuxford and all we have to offer. A website can only tell you so much, so we strongly encourage families considering Tuxford to come and visit us in-person.

Sixth form open evening | Thursday 26 November

For current year 11 students looking at their post 16 options for a September 2027 start.

Students in year 11 are welcome to find out more about our sixth form offer by attending our post 16 open evening on Thursday 15 October. Our post 16 team will be on hand to discuss your study options and future ambitions to help you decide if we are the right fit for you.

The evening will provide an opportunity to learn about our support for students wanting to attend Russell Group universities and the links we have with high profile apprenticeships and work experience placements. Our student ambassadors will also be on hand to share their experience of Tuxford Post 16 and the leadership opportunities available.
