Our academy has had some great success in football this term!
Our year 7 and year 9 girls’ football teams have shown great teamwork and determination in their recent matches, and have both made it through to the next round of the Nottinghamshire County Cup.
Our post 16 football team played their first game of the year in the County Cup last Wednesday, facing Christ the King. The team had not played together before and managed to secure a 3-0 victory! Goals were scored by Max, Lewis, and Ben with some stand out performances from year 11 students who stepped up to help out, including Isaac, Cam, and Jake.
Well done to all the students who have represented Tuxford Academy, and good luck in the next rounds!
