On Thursday 3 March our year 9-13 students and their parents attended a ‘Discover your Future Fair’ evening.
Students were able to speak to representatives from universities, colleges, employers and apprenticeship providers, to find out more about the options open to them in the future. This provided them with an overview of the academic, training and careers opportunities available to them.
Several exhibitors were in attendance including: Loughborough University, the University of Lincoln, Bishop Grosseteste University, York St John University, University of Northampton as well as colleges such as Lincoln College, West Notts College and Riseholm College. The Royal Airforce were also present as well as other employers and apprenticeships providers. Students were given an overview of a wide range of academic and career pathways open to them.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to discover more about careers, apprenticeships, higher education and further education.
