On Wednesday 2 February Beech College held a non-uniform and charity day. Students wore non-uniform and were encouraged to wear bright and colourful colours to link with us raising money for LGBT+ Service Nottinghamshire.

During break time and lunchtime, we had a number of stalls with a variety of games, activities and cakes were sold for the charities.

A total of £1721 was raised and split across the following charities:

Newark Emmaus Trust (nominated by Ava M in Year 11) Nottinghamshire Mind (nominated by Abbey M in Year 7)

LGBT+ Service Nottinghamshire

Show Racism the Red Card

Trussell Trust Newark Food Bank

Well done to all who took part.
