Students from Tuxford Academy recently participated in a boccia festival at Retford Oaks Academy. There is no doubt that it was an incredible experience for all of those who participated. We are delighted to announce that one of our teams achieved second place, earning a silver medal!
The students had an excellent time participating in an event where they could meet and compete against other schools in the district. We are very proud of all those who participated and thrilled to have achieved such a high placing. Congratulations to all who took part and thank you to Retford Oaks for hosting.
A special mention to our three sports leaders from post 16 (Lottie, Elizabeth and Gabby) who did an amazing job on the day of refereeing and scoring the games for us. A great representation of the school and role models for our students.
