We would like to invite our year 7 parents and carers to the Y7 Subject Evening on Thursday 12 December from 3:30-6:15pm at Tuxford Academy. The Year 7 Subject Evening is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teachers and to discuss their learning.
The Y7 Subject Evening will be held face to face in the school building. Your attendance at the evening is highly encouraged, as it provides an invaluable chance to establish a strong partnership between home and school. We encourage you to bring your child with you, so that they are included in the conversations.
Appointment Bookings
Appointment slots will be 5 minutes in length, allowing you to have concise but productive discussions with teachers. We have built in 5 minute gaps on all appointments to allow for movement between classrooms.
Appointments are open for bookings and will close at 1pm on the day of the appointments.
To book appointments, we will be using the School Cloud system which is an online platform for booking appointments and may be used to hold virtual parents’ evenings. Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis and we recommend booking no more than 6 to 8 appointments.
