On Monday 25 April the Army visited Tuxford Academy and students interested in joining the military from year 10 took part in workshops and team working with them. They also spoke to students about life in the British Army and answered their career related questions. Students took part in the following activities:

  • Bridge building and signal boxes (Royal Engineers)
  • Team activities and mat work (Royal Logistical Corps)
  • Weapons / STEM (Infantry)
  • Escape room scenario

The students engaged with the activities and demonstrated good team working and actively asked questions. These activities gave the students an insight into life in the Army and provided a fantastic CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) opportunity for the year 10 students.
