On 27 March, a group of eight year 10 Maths students attended Maths Feast, a competition run by the Advanced Maths Support Programme. Maths Feast is a day long event that took place at The Walton Academy, Lincolnshire.
The competition gave our talented mathematicians an opportunity to showcase their mathematical skills. The students worked in teams, solving a variety of mathematical problems and their team work was exemplary. Mrs Ballard commented that she was very proud to take them!
Out of 13 teams Tuxford Academy placed 2nd and 4th which is an absolutely amazing result. We would like to thank Will, Isobel, Laila, Jack, Lucy, Tegan, Luke and Clayton for representing the school so well.
