Thank you to students in Willow college who held Willow Charity Day last term. Students from all year groups in Willow college organised stalls, a tombola and a bake sale to raise £1163.70 for two worthy charities; the Trussell Trust and Young Minds.
The Trussell Trust is an anti-poverty charity and community of food banks. They work together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank to survive, while providing food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.
Young Minds is charity who want to see a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health. They aim to support young people in getting the mental health support they need, when they need it, to help stop an emerging mental health need becoming a crisis.
Congratulations to all involved in raising much-needed funds for these fantastic charities.
