Celebrating Success in the BEBRAS Computing Challenge!

Students at Tuxford Academy have once again demonstrated their computing prowess by participating in the prestigious BEBRAS Computing Challenge, a nationwide competition designed to test problem-solving and computational thinking skills. The challenge is part of an international initiative aimed at encouraging young people to explore the fascinating world of computing. It’s a gateway to understanding how technology shapes our world and aims to inspire the next generation of innovators.

The challenge saw students from Years 7 to 9, as well as those studying GCSE and A Level Computer Science, taking part in a series of engaging and thought-provoking tasks. These tasks encouraged students to think logically, work collaboratively, and apply creativity to solve complex problems—key skills in the fast-evolving world of technology.

We are incredibly proud to announce that a number of our students achieved certificates recognizing their placement in the top 10% of students across the UK. This remarkable achievement highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of our students.

The BEBRAS Challenge is an excellent opportunity for students to put their skills to the test and gain recognition on a national level. We’re thrilled to see so many of our students excel and take pride in their accomplishments.
