What to do if your child receives a positive test for Covid-19 after 17 December
- If a student tests positive for Covid-19, having developed symptoms within 48 hours of being in the academy, please contact the academy by emailing parents@tuxford-ac.org.uk – we will then assist in identifying close contacts and advising self-isolation, as the individual may have been infectious whilst in school.
- If a student tests positive for Covid-19, having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in the academy, you are not required to inform us prior to the 26 December. Parents and carers are advised to follow the contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.
- So that we can ensure that we record any potential student absence from the start of term, if a student receives a positive Covid-19 test from 26 December onwards, please email parents@tuxford-ac.org.uk with the date of their positive test and the date of the onset of any symptoms.
