A group of post 16 performing arts students visited the Crucible in Sheffield last week to watch a Sheffield Theatres production of A Streetcar Named Desire. šŸŽ­

The play written by Tennessee Williams, is one of the most critically acclaimed plays of the 20th century.

The post 16 students have written some short reviews of the play:

I found watching ā€˜A Streetcar Named Desireā€™ very emotive and inspiring, aiding in my creative process both for my scripted performance and the written exam.Ā  It was an excellent opportunity that was appreciated and enjoyed by teachers and students alike.

‘Watching ā€˜A Streetcar Named Desireā€™, was a great experience that was enjoyed by all. The production was innovative and original, having seen such a piece of live -theatre has inspired not only our exam work but crafting our practical work in class as well as our own views on performance.’Ā
