We have commissioned a group of year 12 fine art students to design and create a mural for the school corridor in between art and science faculties.
Before collaborating on the piece, a group of year 10 and 12 students were privileged to attend workshops with Alistair from Neck of the Wood Studio; the artist who is leading the new mural in Tuxford. Alistair shared his experiences with the students which enabled them to create their own design.
Thank you to all the students who have contributed. They have made an excellent start and their work is looking fantastic! We can’t wait to see the finished art work.
The mural will be displayed at our Made It exhibition in July, before taking permanent residence in the art and science corridor.
