Do you know about the Parent Focus Group?
We would like to welcome new parents from all year groups to join us in discussing subjects that matter to you and your children. The first meeting of this academic year is on Tuesday 15 October and we would be thrilled to welcome new parents.
There is a letter from the chair of the Parent Focus Group below:
Hello
My name is Richard Charnock, I’m a governor here at Tuxford. As one of my governing roles, I help by chairing the Parent Focus Group.
I could really do with your help! We are looking for parents to join the group and give feedback to the school. Ideally we would like two parents from each year group. That will give us a really good cross section of the school community. Its not a huge commitment, but it is vital. We meet once a term and discuss things that are relevant to you and your children. Each meeting takes place between 5:30pm and 7pm on the Tuesday before half term.
Could you spare some time? If you can, please drop me a line on rcharnock@gov.diverse-ac.org.uk
Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
