Our design and technology teacher, Mr Tegerdine, has recently completed his sixth marathon in Manchester where he achieved a personal best time.
One of the UK’s premier running events, the Manchester Marathon is the second largest marathon in the nation. The race is 26.2 miles long and involves 28,000 participants.
Additionally, Mr Tegerdine has run Nottingham Marathon twice, Rutland Marathon twice, and an ultra (over a marathon) from home to school in support of Young Minds.
He plans to run the London marathon to celebrate his 50th birthday next year. What an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations, Mr. Tegerdine!
