During last week we were delighted to welcome East Midlands Ambulance Service to the academy as we took part in ‘Restart a Heart day’.

The event, organised by the British Heart Foundation annually, aims to provide individuals with the basic information and skills to feel confident to try CPR if the situation ever arose.

Over 200 students got involved in this amazing opportunity to learn a life-saving skill, being taught by the experts from EMAS. The children all displayed great maturity and engaged brilliantly with what can be a difficult subject matter.
