This week the staff at Tuxford Academy are promoting and celebrating Healthy Eating Week to raise awareness about the importance of healthy eating and lifestyle.
During break time, Miss Watkins and staff held some challenges for students. These included:
- are you drinking enough water?
- tasting healthy recipes.
- finding out about fibre. What is it? Why do we need it?
- why we should eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
This was to encourage students to achieve a healthier way of living and that a healthy diet can be full of fun and exciting foods!
