Today we welcomed key stage two pupils from our feeder primary schools to our handball festival.
Our wonderful post 16 sports leaders began the festival by teaching the excited children some handball skills such as passing and defending. The children then put these skills into action playing some exciting games against each other in friendly matches. At the end of the festival the pupils were awarded with a certificate of participation.
It was a great opportunity to introduce the pupils to our academy before many of them join us in the future. Well done to all sports leaders who helped today and thank you to all the staff and children who took part. We hope you enjoyed the session!
