As part of the GCSE Geography course, students get the chance to undertake fieldwork exploring a wide range of geographical issues. On Wednesday 29 June the year 9 geography students travelled to Derbyshire to visit Burbage Brook in The Peak District.
There students studied river processes through a range of primary data collection techniques. They gathered information so that they could present and analyse it back in school.
We hope the year 9 geographers enjoyed their first taste of fieldwork.
