On Monday 13 January the drama faculty organised an afternoon of workshops by Complicité theatre company on a range of theatrical exercises and techniques.
Students in year 10 and post 16 enjoyed an afternoon learning about theatrical devices such as storytelling, scene change, blurring, and how movements can convey meaning and emotion. The students were all inspired by learning new techniques and devices that they can use in their own performing arts studies.
Thank you to the professional actors from Complicité who travelled from London to deliver the workshops. It was an extremely informative afternoon and a lot of fun!
