Last week the year 8 and year 9 students at Tuxford Academy all had the chance to visit Clumber Park as part of a wider enrichment opportunity.

The Physical Education Faculty organised the day trip with the intention of broadening students’ experience of physical activity whilst providing access to a local National Trust facility.

Students had the chance to move around the park in groups, on bicycles and on foot, as well as using the PE Faculty sports equipment. Around 150 students from each year attended the trip.

The weather was perfect and the day was a great success.
