Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a workshop run by Bakkavor, an organization that offers apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships to our Post 16 students. Apprentices in engineering, finance, sales, manufacturing, etc., presented to the group and the students had chance to practice their interview techniques and got feedback on their communication skills.
In the afternoon Bakkavor’s Newark factory gave the students the opportunity to blind taste test some of the cakes and puddings they produce!
