We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new starters this academic year.
Our year 7 students have made a positive start to their first two weeks at Tuxford Academy. Starting at secondary school is a big step, but our year 7 students are already showing great confidence and settling into school life brilliantly. Last week, they took part in some of their first secondary school sports lessons – and what a fantastic start they have made!
Our year 12 students have also received their induction into Post 16 at Tuxford. The post 16 team have supported students by sharing key advice, expectations, and opportunities awaiting them this year from academic success to enrichment, leadership and future pathways. Our post 16 students have also experienced workshops on wellbeing, mindset, teamwork and vision.
We would like to welcome all our students back for the new academic year and we look forward to a busy autumn term at Tuxford Academy.
