A team of year 11 and year 13 students took part in the Lift-off competition at Newark Showground on Tuesday. The students have shown fantastic dedication; working hard after school to design and build their own lifting machine.
The team, including Oliver, Theo, Ewan, George, Farron, Rory and Henry demonstrated excellent teamwork, problem solving skills and composure throughout the competition and they represented Tuxford brilliantly.
Although the team did not win overall, they were one of only four teams to successfully complete the challenge. They were runner up for the fastest time and were also recognised for having the most accurate machine operation.
