About Peter
I retired as deputy head of a large independent school following a 33-year career in teaching. My main areas of experience are concerned with academic achievement, curriculum development and staffing. I also acted as a school inspector and am currently a senior examiner.
I consider myself a scientist and keen sportsman who has had the opportunity to travel extensively since retirement.
I strongly believe that any school should provide an environment where all students can thrive and fulfil their potential.
I am hopeful that my two grandchildren who live locally will attend Tuxford Academy in the near future.
