Last Monday, year 10 GCSE Geographers headed to Hornsea on the Holderness to investigate how successful the coastal management has been there.
Students collected data to see how effective the wooden groynes have been at capturing the sediment and subsequently building up the beach to prevent further coastal erosion. They even got chance to evaluate the quality of the local fish and chips too!
