If you are interested in initial teacher training at Tuxford Academy, or would like to spend time in one of our Alliance schools to consider teaching as a career, we host a series of open days throughout the year.
This will give the opportunity to observe lessons and have discussions with members of departments, as well as current trainees on various courses.
The open day will include:
- Discuss the various routes into teaching, including PGCE and School Direct
- Learn more about Trent Valley Teaching School Alliance
- Meet our current School Direct & PGCE trainees
- Enjoy lunch whilst meeting the TVTSA team
- Observations within relevant departments
- Debrief and questions
If you are interested in attending one of our Open Days please contact Serena Sellick, ITT co-ordinator by prior arrangement:
Telephone: 01777 870001 ext 596
Please note we would expect formal work wear, appropriate to the classroom environment. You will be escorted in school to comply with our school policies.
