KS3 Year 7 and 8 follow a general science course covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics alongside scientific skills. Practical Investigations are an integral part of science lessons, to support the learning and progress of all students.
KS4
Students will either study separate sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) or Combined Science GCSE. The awarding body is AQA. All GCSE courses will be examined at the end of Year 11. Students will complete a number of core practicals throughout the course. The students will be tested on these in their final examinations. All students will study Biology, Chemistry and Physics as Combined Science GCSE covers all three disciplines. All students who complete either separate sciences or Combined Science GCSE are able to progress through to A level science courses.
